I'de rather prefer some better image quality... But it moved all the short time and than vanished, leaving me with this only image. Bibionidae female? Small, about 5mm or less, on the dead leaf, pond beach, Moscow region, 24 sept. Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

After a night it comes to my mind that it doesn't look like Bibionidae at all. The only my idea is - if it exist Simulidae large like this, than may be some "Simulium "gigas""? Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
