ok, Paul  Here is the second series. A large and a small specimen, same location, same flower. One or two species? Thanks FrankAustria / Osttirol: Villgratental, Kalkstein, 1450m, VII.2006 (larger specimen)   same location and date (smaller specimen)

Two species. Top (first one male, second one female): Empis tessellata. Second one I don't know, but it is Empis.

Empis tessellata is confirmed from the collected specimen (as if that were necessary  ).
