Taken today on a rhododendron leaf South Coast UK. 1.01mm long with a very odd appendage attached either to it's head or the front end of the abdomen. Any ideas? Thanks Brian V.

I'm curious about yellow thing? Nectar? Egg? I think a t first time that was vestigial wing, but the dorsal wing doesn?t show nothing that resembles a vestigial wing. And antennas are more similar to hymenopters that flies, as well the eyes. |
