The first one was a relatively large species. Looks like a typical Dolichopus sp. to me. Am I right? Can the species be determined?

Possibly subfamily Dolichopodinae. Was a smaller species than the one posted above.

This one was one of the smallest members of this family ever observed by me.

Hi Xespok. 1. I think you are right, Dolichopus. 2. Rhaphium? 3. ? 4. I don't think it is Dolichopus. May be Tachytrechus? Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

1. Dolichopus claviger. There's a dense group of curly white hairs on the squama (fold at base of wing) which it utterly characteristic for this species. It can be seen in the picture if you know what to look for. 2. Rhaphium female. Very difficult or impossible to identify reliably. Some species groups are possible not this one does not belong to those groups. 3. Campsicnemus female, probably C. curvipes. 4. Same as 1, the group of hairs on the squama is better visible in this photo. Kahis |

Nikita, Kahis, thx for your help. I do not quite see the curly white hairs, but I beleive that they are there where they should be. |
