 Can somebody identify this please? Photo taken on 6.03.06 at Simar Nature Reserve, Malta. Specimen is on 5mm graph paper for scale.

 A male of the genus Dilophus (Bibionidae). Maybe Theo knows more about the Mediterranean fauna?

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
