yesterday I found this fly in a wooded valley.

Who can tell me which species this is ?

Dates:

Germany, Northrhine-Westphalia, D-59872 Freienohl, Giesmecketal, 346 m, August, 25th, 2020

It is a member of the Tachinidae, so change the title to attract Theo!

Allophorocera ferruginea.

Used to be common, but seems to have disapppeared from NL.
