Deutschland, Baden-Württemberg, Landkreis Karlsruhe, Schwarzwaldrandplatte, 340 m ü. NN, Streuobstwiese-Gartenrand, auf Blüten der Wilden Möhre, ca. 6 - 8 mm, Funddatum: 08.08.2020, Gerold Franke, Tenthredinidae? Welche Art? Danke

Hallo Gerold, bin ziemlich sicher, dass es ein Weibchen von Tenthredo arcuata ist. Quite sure, it's a female Tenthredo arcuata. Eric |

Here (nothwest Germany) Tenthredo notha is most common (very abundant in the moment). Hi Jürgen, thank you for the enquiry! I agree, arcuata is resembling notha and brevicornios and it's difficult to identify if the abdomen is not visible dorsally. Even then it's hardly possible to identify from a photo. Due to the fact that arcuata flies quite early in the year, it's better to take it for T. notha. In Anbetracht der späten Flugzeit sollte man wohl Tenthredo cf. notha annehmen. Greetings, Eric |
