Drosophilidae subfamily Steganinae. Reminds me of Leucophenga. |

There would be very little or no chance to identify neotropical Leucophenga to species level, I guess? I have that one also unidentified: https://diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=111484 |

I do not know of a revision or review of Neotropical Leucophenga. One would need to read many papers. |

Your old picture (id=11484) might show a male of the species which you photographed recently (a female). You may try to ask for identification a South-American specialist, e. g. Prof. C.R.Vilela (e-mail: crvilela@ib.usp.br). Anyway, L. maculosa, widely distributed in America (from USA to Argentina) looks like the flies you have photographed; this is just a suuggestion, not identification.
