I expect this to be an Empis species, but it is much smaller than Empis tesselata. It drew my attention by its reddish leggs. Knee-high grassland bordered by earthen wall with shrubs and trees. Lots of buttercups flowering. E. tesselata was also flying there, as well as Rhagio scolopaceus.
