Dea Graeme,

In order to be able to id the family some more detailed pictures are needed. Or a bigger sized picture. The details necessary for identification are the number of tarsi, including whether or not the last tarsal segment holds rudimentairy claws. Furthermore details of the mandibles and the antenne. For the moment I think itīs either Halictophagidae or Stylopidae, but will need the mentioned details in order to confirm it.

Best wishes,

John

John. Unfortunately this picture is at the limits of my equipment. And I would need a better microscope, and probably younger eyes, to obtain the informstion you reqire. Thank you for your response.
