 One of the most common species in Australia is E.breviseta (Malloch). Australasian/Oceanian: Australia (New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, Western Australia), but it is difficult to tell surely for genitalia are usually to be studied to determine species from this genusSmile

 There seems to be a long slender bristle present under the arista, which would exclude Ephydrella and points to Setacera breviventris.
