I find these little flies a challenge! This one measured 2.4 mm and was photographed in an open area, West Virginia USA, 3 September 2006. Note: I changed the subject line to attract the attention of those people interested in the Long-Legged Flies, thanks to Nikita for identifying the family. Sorry, no characters to identify subfamily, either Sympycninae or Diaphorinae (Chrysotus). Antenna? Face? Apex of abdomen laterally? |
