Hi, We have lots of Daisies around the house, and I often see tiny dark Empis flies on the flowerheads. They do not look very thrilling, but perhaps it is a common species? Thanks for help, Sundew Sundew attached the following image: [117.23Kb] |

Dear Paul, is your key still out of reach? (The flies are meanwhile - the Daisies are still in bloom, but no Empis is visiting; obviously they belong to a spring species.) |
