2 years ago in end of March in Sochi region, Andrey Ozerov and me collected flies during complet solar eclips.
To whom it may concern (or be interesting):
during eclips it becomes not only very few light, but also very cold.
Rezume: either Syrphidae or eclips Pfft

LOOOOOOOOL Nikita!! seeing the corona solar is among the best things in Nature to see!!! At least stare on it during 30 s is OBLIGATORY! I shed in tears when I saw the eclipse in SIDE - Turkey ... with a symphony behind of me, and Apollo temple!! Unforgettable!

But in next time, I will observe during the TSE the behaviour of the flies. Smile Maybe we must get lots of corpses of bats, cats, dogs, seacrabs, etc etc, Grin

The next TSE will be the longest of all century: almost 7 minutesd in Japan, China! lucky guys!

I'm preparing the 2026 12th August eclipse. Wink
http://eclipse.gs...oogle.html I will collect weather data, topography data, access and so. Wink early? maybe. but not for this crazy. Grin
