Great finding Lukasz... can you tell a bit more about where and how you found it?

Long storySmile
Last year we have conferencion of Dipterological Section, Polish Entomological Society in the Krzyzanowice (Nida Valey, swietkorzyskie). I arive to the place one day earlier and stay one day longer than most of people, for catching fliesSmile
First day I saw the male, but it fly awaySad In last day I saw the female ovipositing eggs on Quercus, so I catch her. Female lay egss to the phial and I broad few larvae until now. Now I think to move it to the cold placeSmile

That really is amazing. You know, it would be interesting to write a little publication on that. Where and how you kept the female, and all the way up to the grown larva (and later the adult fly)!
I know a nice little magazine for that (I edit it Smile )
So write me if you are interested...

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
