This fly was really small, I shot it by accident while I was focusing on something else. Aprox. 4-6 mm. It has been ID as Pandelleia sexmaculata by Paqui Mars in Insectarium Virtual and confirmed by Theo Zeegers. Shot in Sierra Nevada, 1750 masl feeding on Thapsia sp. flowers by humid mountain grassland. 29-June_2008. Dílar, Granada, S Spain.
