The Brachystomatidae were recently elevated to family rank (Sinclair & Cumming, Zootaxa 1180 1-172 (2006) having formily been the Brachystomatinae of the Empididae. The subfamily Ceratomerinae is exclusively Gondwanic in distribution. This species is from New ZEaland

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
