Database needed optimising. Probably some of the disruption was cause by migrating to a new server. The other part was overdue maintenance so partly my fault. Apologies to all.

conopid, there is no reason the page is slow for one download the whole site because the server has a greater upload speed , UNLESS there are MANY (really many) guys at the same time downloading it! t
