At least family level possible? Length about 2cm. In a park in Vienna

Hi Carnifex,

Because it lack a pharyngeal skeleton I'd say one of the more primitive flies. It looks quite a lot like the Asilid larvae in https://www.resea.../343188758. Although that subfamily is not found here.
