Hi,

I have photographed this small centipede in a forest near Paris. I'm unable to estimate the whole length but the level of magnification of the picture is about 2.0x.
Found under a rotten log.
I hesitate between two genus : Geophilus and Cryptops. They do not belong to the same orders though but I cannot make the difference between them.
Any opinion?
Thanks for any help,

FRV

Cryptops (Scolopendromorpha) has at most 23 pairs of legs, while Geophiomorpha have more than 30 pairs. It can be estimated that ithis is a member of Geophilomorpha.

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
