I took a photo of this fly in 11 july in Southern Sweden, I thought it was a Tachinid and it looks a lot like Bactromyia aurulenta but it is more golden and the wing ribs doesn´t seem to fit. Can somone help me with the ID of this fly? Thanks in advance. gyrfalcon attached the following image: [257.18Kb] Edited by gyrfalcon on 16-07-2020 21:02 |

Thanks Theo! The legs are all dark. Very golden dusted. It looks very much like this one that was decided to Winthemia speciosa, se this thread: https://diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=71739&highlight=Winthemia+speciosa&pid=301985 Is it the 2 ad on the mid tibia that are visible on the front photo above? What do you say? Martin |

Yes, that might very well be it. I was on holiday and had no access to my literature. Theo |
