Hello, besides one Eristalis pertinax sunbathing on a leaf at 11-12 °C no hoverflies today here (northwest Germany) except this tiny Eupeodes on Ficaria verna at a country lane. Normally I only expect E. luniger at this time of the year, but this animal reminds me more of Eupeodes latifasciatus (?) because of the connected stripes on its abdomen.
