Cannot get to species ID, found in a park in Vienna Edited by Carnifex on 12-05-2020 16:45 Cheers, Lorin Font Color All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated. My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated. |

Hi Lorin, most probably it's Cacopsylla (Thamnopsylla) pulchella (Löw, 1877). Is there any Cercis siliquastrum nearby? fauna-eu.org says it's absent in Austria, but it's an invasive species. Greetings, Eric Edited by eklans on 10-05-2020 09:46 |

Thanks, Eric, very fascinating. Not that I know of, but it was found in a park, so there might be one nearby.
