Then I suppose you are in Bolivia right now? If you have access to a computer, then you aren't in the right place! (I've been to the type locality 3 times, without success ) Steve Gaimari Plant Pest Diagnostics Lab, CDFA 3294 Meadowview Road Sacramento, CA 95832-1448, USA |

Thanks Andrjez. Yep, one day I hope to find an Eurychoromyiidae fly. I want to photograph this fly in the field! Not pinned. Find their larvae, pupa. I know nobody find both, just some imagos. The unique photo available of this fly (pinned ) from CDFA. jorgemotalmeida attached the following image: [2.87Kb] Edited by jorgemotalmeida on 25-10-2007 17:44 |

sorry that link is dead! We recently redid the entire website (all over the state) - I just did the part for my organization. Anyway, here is the link to the pic: http://www.cdfa.ca.gov/phpps/ppd/entomology/images/diptera/eurmalle.jpg One of my favorite flies! |

Jorge - when you go on your Bolivian expedition can I be your research assistant and carry your nets? I will travel light ... just essentials for any trip - my own nets, boxes, malaise trap, alcohol |

HI I'm glad - so many compliments. Thank you. Thank you, zcuc. Chris, of course!! BUT!!! (it is a big BUT) you must carry lots of ROIBOS! then we can use the bottles for using in malaise traps. |
