Berlin - January 05, 2020

Hello everyone,

I found this larva today on my laundry room door. I wonder if it came from our Christmas tree.
Anyway, i wonder if it is a moth larva? i think that carpet beetle larva is smaller and more hairy.

Maybe someone has seen this before? it looks like it is wrapped in something.

Best wishes,
John

It may belong to Tineidae - see e. g. pictures

Hello Jan,

Thank you for replying. Tineidae is an excellent suggestion. I will try to keep it alive and hopefully it pupates. Then we can see what comes out. Smile

Best wishes,
John
