Hi to all!
I guess that's Eristalis, right? Probably no chance about the species... Hope dies last. (Edit: No Eristalis, but Stratiomyidae - thx Paul)
The one on my hand is another individual than that in the water, but both from the same pool.

Size (including tail) about 4-5 cm.

16.8.2019, Germany, Upper Bavaria, a military training ground near Traunstein, approx. 580m a.s.l.
