Hello,

this larva inhabits my bait bananas in our garden (northwest Germany), length 4-5 mm.

I have always many Drosophila on the baits, mostly D. immigrans, suzukii, histrio and - especially in the last weeks (and always in the more colder season) - D. obscura group.

Probably not drosophilid larva. Determination of living larvae of Cyclorrhapha is often virtutally impossible, as anterior and posterior stigmata are usually retracted (drawn in) and, of course, buccal (cephalopharyngeal) armature cannot be seen. Cleared preparations should be studied.
