Hello, Here is a couple of Dolichopodidae (I think ! ). Does anyone know the genera ? (I don't dare to ask for the species with rather poor photos...) (Corsica, 19th september 2004 - 5 mm long) Edited by Arthropa on 09-03-2007 23:09 Benoit MARTHA |

Hello Benoit, I think it is safe to say they are Dolichopus. Am i correct in seeing a partly white fore tarsus? In that case it may even be possible to say what species. Paul - - - - Paul Beuk on https://diptera.info |

Yes indeed (very impressed ! ), it seems you're right, when you have a look at the full size picts (sorry, photos are looking pretty bad that way ! ) : So, what is the species ?... Edited by Arthropa on 10-10-2004 09:37 Benoit MARTHA |

In the top image it appeared like there was something on the fore tarsus. Not clear from other pictures. Still, I think there is none. Maybe Igor or Kahis can help further.
