These were photographed yesterday at Javalambre mountain, Iberian System, Teruel, NE Spain, about 1600-1800 meters over sea, in open grassland. These were small robbers, Dioctria-sized. tough clearly they're not Dioctria. Some ideas please? Thanks! Edited by Isidro on 15-07-2018 10:41 |

Hello Isidro, they are Andrenosoma sp.

Thanks Reinoud. Looks like that there are 6 Iberian species of Andrenosoma but only 2 are common, albibarbe and atrum. By google images, it looks like more Andrenosoma albibarbe than atrum (notice red tinge in abdomen). Can I put a more precise ID? |

I am afraid not. Based on the picture we can't see the characters very well Of the Iberian species most have red on the dorsal side of their abdomen.
