Hi, again from the same park (Defileul Jiului). edge of beech (Fagus) forest, close to a valley. this was seen on a wall. i think this is a chloropid. small size ~3mm (maybe less). sorry for the lack of quality. for me is very alike the earlier Oscinella posted here (and two the gallery). can bee saying more? thanks, cosmln [EDIT] title changed... so not very much from i writed up is valable cosmln attached the following image:  [102.2Kb] Edited by cosmln on 16-09-2007 13:22 |

It is Ephydridae, Gymnomyzinae as far as I know...

is very alike this Athyroglossa glabra from gallery. i have to check but i think the exemplary was collected. cosmln |

I'd agree with Ephydridae, and it certainly looks like Athyroglossa - possibly ordinata - can't see quite enough detail.
