Hello, Out with the local Shropshire Invertegrates Group today and we found this impressive looking fly. According to Colyer & Hammond (Flies of the British Isles) it could be Ochthera mantis (Ephydridae). Is this likely to be correct, or are there any other British species that may look similar?
