Hi Nikita, For this one I can give you a positive identification. It is a female of Geomyza tripunctata. Very nice picture again! Opomyzidae are beautiful, are they not? If the site on Opomyzidae I intend to start will ever be realized, I could sure use several of your pictures! Jan Willem |

1. Thank you Jan, two correct identification Opomyzidae till genus grace to your lessons! 2. Yesterday, when I discovered that Lonchopteridae are also yours, it came to my mind that you took for yourself the best Diptera groups. 3. I'll try to collect. Reasons why not yet - first, whithout some nessesary knowledge what collect and for whom collect it was useless killing of beautiful living things. Second - usualy to make picture and collect in same time is unreal task. Nikita and thank you for Lonchopteras. Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
