Hello! Two other small species from yesterday here in Germany. The first one was about the size of Sepsis sp.. Is it Sepsis sp.? The second, a couple, was about the double size. I found them on a Fraxinus tree trunk. Perhaps Callopium (Lauxaniidae) again? Thanks for any hints! Your sepsid is indeed Sepsis. The marking in the wing does leave no other option here. The second, I really could not tell with any certainty. My impression is that is not Calliopum but a cannot give and clear specifics why. Paul - - - - Paul Beuk on https://diptera.info |
