Minnesota wetland, northern USA. Fly measured 8.5 mm to the rear of the wings. Date 22 July 2007.

This fly reminds me of Heleomyzid, but there aren't many of them around in July, are there? Perhaps Sciomyzidae or Dolichopodidae?

Thanks in advance for any ID help.
