Hello, had found an undefined larva in a water filled tree cave. The larva is greenish yellow and 3.45 mm long. Is it Forcipomyia? a photo of the head, ventral Holger Mueller attached the following image: [283.77Kb] |

I don't think it is even a Diptera. I'm missing anterior and posterior spiracles. My guess would be some juvenile stage of Curculionidae, but not sure. |
