A friend took these photos in Asturias, Northern Spain. So far as I know it's a male of Haematopota, can it be IDed to species level?

Hi Jorge,

I have two theories:

a.- a pretty model of sun glasses Pfft

b.- the upper-eye facets are larger than those of the inferior part, for that reason they have a different aspect Wink

regards
