Hi,

Two weeks ago I took these pictures of two Helophilus in Wissant (France, Pas-de-Calais) in a sandy path with high hedges, not far from the see.
I guess trivittatus and hybridus. Right ?

both are Helophilus trivittatus ; above a female, under a male. Wink

I forget than in this genus males don't have contiguous eyes.
