Sarcophagidae? fly from last Summer

Hi, I found this rather white faced sarcophagid fly last August on Angelica sylvestris on wet meadows in Hamburg. It looks somewhat similar to Brachycoma devia. It is a Macronychia sp. Very difficult genus.... Theo |

Yes, you should have posted that directly ! Female Macronychia dolini or striginervis, you can very nicely see the ovipositor. Theo |
