Hello everyone,

my freshwater key makes this a dipteran (because it is legless), but I don't really believe in that... who can help? Length about 5 mm.

Many thanks. Lennart

I think Chironomidae, Pentaneurini. The dark structure in the middle of the head in front of the eyespots is important for ID.
