Dear dipterists, Several larvae from European roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) ended under my microscope. They were found under the skin of freshly killed animal. Unfortunately I was not able to identify them, because they are of second (or first) instar. All existing keys are for the third instar. Can someone tell me if this is Hypoderma genus? Second or another instar/stage? Is possible to id the species from this larval stage?
