Hi,

I just found some "bycatch" on a photo, which mainly shows a Syrphid - I don't know why I didn't recognize it while taking the picture... Could this be a pupa (but of which insect)?

Length must be about 5 mm.

Thanks for any hint!

Hallo Lennart,

It looks like a Microplitis cocoon but I don't know enough to confirm it. Maybe try on HymIS?

thanks for your and sorry for my late answer! I'll try that but I'm not very optimistic. Are you sure with Braconidae at least? Smile
