Hi,

Here is a female i found in Auvergne (Massif central) this summer that bother me a bit:

Everything point out to Neomochtherus, but femurs are too red to be geniculatus and seems to be really dark for a pallipes, what is you opinion?

Hi Clovis,

Have a look at the sternites, are they black (with only a little bit of dusting) or are they grey (brownish) with dusting?

If they are black, this would be pallipes (with very dark femora)
Greetings,

Reinoud
