Hi Niki, This is an ichneumon wasp of some kind, so would be better in the 'other insects' area. Also, when you say "G. hastator" - what is the "G"? |

Ahh, definitely not a Gasteruption sp. see http://chrisraper...at=0&pos=1  Gasteruption belongs to the evanoid group of wasps, which all have an unusual thorax/abdomen mounting point
