Hi,
I found this larva in a small stream in West Finland.
I took the photo on 14 Dec.2014 Kokkola, Finland.
Size 21mm.

This is the larva of a caddisfly (Trichoptera) - family Limnephilidae. Normally it would be living inside a case.

if you can show me a photo op the head in dorsal view showing the black pigment pattern on the head/frontoclypeus I may give you a species name. In this view it may look like Anabolia nervosa, but not sure.

perhaps a misunderstanding, but I need a photo of the head in frontal view now. If it is something like this, then Anabolia nervosa.

on second thought, no Anabolia, possibly Limnephilus spec.
