Hello!

This 6 mm fly came to the light yesterday evening (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Could it be a Heleomyzid?

Hmm, rather not. The mesonotum is shiny, maybe a Piohilid fly ???.

That was my first impression, but 6 mm is rather large for this kind of Piophilidae.
