This big robberfly is from 23rd June 2008, Extremadura, Spain. Any chance of an ID of it, more than just family ? Erland Edited by Erland on 15-05-2014 18:08 If it's not a dragonfly, it might be a fly |

Reminds me of Machimus chrysitis/fortis. Please note that there is an Asildaeforum : )

Hi Reinoud Thank you very much. I did realise yesterday, after my second "wave" of Asilidae questions, that there is a special forum. I will make a post in that forum, with descriptions and links to my recent Asilidae questions, in the hope that some of you specialists have missed my questions in the "Adult-forum". Greetings Erland If it's not a dragonfly, it might be a fly |

Maybe the problem is solved....there seems to exist a Machimus chrysitis nigrofemoratus! I guess this should be it! Keep cf : )
