I do know very little about wasps and I know identifying them is very difficult. But perhaps someone can put a name to this beautiful creature I found today against one of our windows at Leerdam, Netherlands. It was appr. 8 mm long (body length). Thanks in advance! obviously a female Ichneumon wasp but you probably knew that already. I wouldnt know the species but it does look like Lissonota sp. in my book. |
