Hello!

I found several of these larvae under the loose bark of a cut down beech at the forest edge. Length about 6-10 mm. Lonchaeidae larvae? Or just Nematodes?

My guess: Mycetophilidae or Sciaridae.

This larva is not Sciaridae for sure, - these should have clearly expressed black head capsule, which is not visible on your photo.
Unfortunately, I don't know what other family could it belong to...

I can no longer send private messages (and maybe not receive?), even though my inbox and outbox are not yet full. I write, click "send" and they disappear and never show up in the outbox.
