HI * locality - Silgueiros - Viseu - PORTUGAL * date - 4.11.2006 * size - 2 mm (small fly) * habitat - open land * substrate - hang in a spider web... it is a prey... Culicidae fly. is it genus possible to determine?  Thank you! jorgemotalmeida attached the following image:  [184.81Kb] |

I think this is Chironomidae, and not easy to identify genus!

Culicidae males have antennae that look very different from what you can see here. |
