From about 65 km NW of Stockholm, Sweden 2006-SEP-02. This must be either a Muscid or an Anthomyiid!? I have trouble recognising that anal vein. The shape and the color to some extent looks like Limnophora ...

Anthomyiid - the anal vein appears to reach the wing margin, and the abdominal pattern (dark central line and dark bands separating the tergites) is very common among anthomyiids. Also the abundance of anterodorsal and posterodorsal bristles on the hind tibia would be highly unusual in a muscid.
